European Organisations
This side offers you a choice of educational organisations on a European level - as today, Switzerland is included in most of the programmes and projects of these organisations.
Council of Europe
The Council of Europe has been founded on 5th May 1949 by 10 European countries. Today he counts 47 members. Switzerland became a member of the European Council in 1963. The Council has its own portal for education in Europe.
Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency
The Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency EACEA has been founded by the European Commission in 2005. It is responsible for the management of certain parts of the EU's programmes in the fields of education, culture and audiovisual.
European Commission
The European Commission builds a forum for the exchange of ideas and Good Practice examples. Its Lifelong-Learning-Programme for school and vocational education mainly promotes the integration of ICT into European education systems.
EFQUEL
The European Foundation for Quality in eLearning (EFQUEL) aims at quality in eLearning and services for all educational fields, regional contexts and target groups.
EIfEL
The European Institute for E-Learning (EIfEL) is an independent, not-for-profit European professional association whose mission is to support organisations, communities and individuals in building a knowledge economy and a learning society.
European Schoolnet EUN
European Schoolnet is an international partnership of 31 European Ministries of Education. EUN's education portals have developed into the most important tools for school partnerships, eLearning and ICT in schools.
European Social Fund
The European Social Fund (ESF) is one of the EU's Structural Funds, set up to reduce differences in prosperity and living standards across EU Member States and regions, and therefore promoting economic and social cohesion.
