aPlanet
The Autonomous “Personal Learning Networks” for Language Teachers (aPLaNet) project is an EU project that will help language educators who are not yet using social networks, to use Internet Personal Learning Network (PLN) on social networks like Facebook, Twitter, Nings etc.
Digital library initiative Europeana
The EU's digital libraries initiative in the context of the Commission’s Digital Agenda for Europe, sets out to make all Europe’s cultural resources and scientific records accessible to all - through the Europeana digital library.
EduTubePlus
The EduTubePlus project aims to develop a European hybrid, multilingual video-based service for schools. This service will integrate thousands of multi-lingual curriculum-related video-clips by major European educational TV & video providers, with tools enabling educators to enrich the library with user-generated clips.
ESTABLISH
The objective of ESTABLISH is the dissemination and use of an inquiry-based teaching method for science with second level students (age 12-18 years) on a large scale in Europe by creating authentic learning environments, involving all stakeholders to drive change in the classroom.
eTwinning
The eTwinning portal is run and managed by European Schoolnet. It is a virtual meeting point for the exchange of information between schools, and it provides all the tools and services necessary for schools to find partners, resources, advice, help, and information.
European Language Portfolio ELP
The European Language Portfolio (ELP) has been developed and testet by the language department of the European Council. During the European Year of Languages it has been launched as an important instrument for the promotion of multilinguality and cultural diversity.
Europortfolio - EIfEL
In order to provide the means for the ePortfolio to achieve its highest potential, the Europortfolio project by EIfEL contributes to the definition and implementation of eStrategies promoting innovative practice and technology, and encourages the adoption of technical standards.
Europschool.net
The Europschool network’s aim is to create a common platform for nursery and primary school teaching in order to research on “how to improve inter culturality in the early childhood, what training is needed for teachers, what methods are to be used?”
Fibonacci
Funded by the European Union under the 7th Framework Programme, and supervised by a high level scientific committee, the Fibonacci project aims at a large dissemination of inquiry-based science and mathematics education (IBSME) in Europe.
HY-SUP
This project in the European educational context by the universities of Fribourg and Geneva aims to evaluate the demands on and the use of platformes for so-called hybrid ongoing educations - a mixture of traditional and online courses.
Inclusive Education in Action
This new European project by UNESCO and the European Agency for Development in Special Needs Education informs on policies and practice in the context of special needs education. Switzerland is a partner of this project.
iTEC - Designing the future classroom
Innovative Technologies for an Engaging Classroom is a European project with the task to design technology-enhanced scenarios for the classroom of tomorrow, that can be validated in a pilote project. Among its partners is the Swiss Agency for ICT in Education SFIB.
kidsINNscience
kidsINNscience is a collaborative action funded under the 7th European Framework Programme. The overall aim is to enhance the interest of young people in science and technology and to opt for science careers. Swiss member of the project is the University of Zurich.
MATH-BRIDGE
MATH-BRIDGE offers mathematical contents to students of engineering sciences to remedy their deficits in maths and to encourage them to continue their studies.
Mobile Game-Based Learning mb-gl
Mithilfe des Projektes mg-bl arbeiten elf europäische Partnerorganisationen an der Erstellung einer Plattform zur Präsentation von Bildungsinhalten auf spielerische und emotionale Weise mithilfe von mobilen Geräten.
myEurope
myEUROPE is a Web-based project which aims to help teachers raise their pupils' awareness of what it means to be a young citizen in Europe. A network of more than 8000 schools brings the diversity of Europe into the classroom via the Internet.
Primalingua
Primalingua is an educational project for 8 to 12-year-old primary school children from all over Europe which is part of "Lifelong Learning", a programme funded by the EU.
SCY - Science created by YOU
SCY aims to take science education to the next level by developing a flexible, open-ended learning environment that truly engages and empowers adolescent learners by embarking on authentic missions.
SEVAQ+
SEVAQ+ is a combined tool and approach for the Self-Evaluation of Quality in Technology-Enhanced Learning. SEVAQ+ is designed to be used by a range of learning organisations – professional training centres, in-company training departments or universities – to evaluate the quality of any teaching and learning supported by technology, whether it concerns totally online distance courses or blended learning.
Xperimania
Concentrating on chemistry and physics, Xperimania aims to boost young people’s interest in science, which is a priority for Europe to remain a knowledge-based economy fostering innovation. Xperimania helps students in lower and secondary school classes (covering pupils aged 10-20) and their teachers to understand the wide variety of applications of petrochemistry.
